Things To Do When Having A Lie In

It’s no secret that I love a good lie in. Knowing that I don’t have to rush out of bed on a weekend morning is just the best feeling.

Sometimes I literally just lay there like an egg being incubated, thinking of nothing, other times, I get sh*t done.

In no particular order, here are the things I often do when having a lie in.

Sleep
It’s a no brainer, and I sense you all nodding in agreement.

Get creative
I plan and draft blog posts, or edit photos I’ve taken. Or I’ll fantasize about being a fashion designer and what my couture show would be like.

Get little tasks done
I tend to declutter my phone (see my post 5 tips to declutter your phone), reply to messages and do online errands like booking travel or choosing a location for say my upcoming birthday!

All of these things can be done without having to step out of bed.

Pamper/groom
A quick eyebrow tweeze, mini manicure, facemask, whatever I can manage really.

Catch up on programmes Here’s what I am watching at the moment: Marcella, Dynasty, Young Sheldon, Genius.

When I can add being given breakfast in bed and a full body massage to this list, my life will be complete!

Anyway I hope you enjoyed/are enjoying your sunday lie in. While you are laid there all relaxed, tell me:

  • Which of these do you think I do the most often?
  • Which of these do you do the most often?
  • Who of you has watched Young Sheldon and loves it as much as I do?

Feel free to leave your answers in the comments below or slide into my Instagram.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
